Register domain name in .HU area

HU domain name size should be at least 2 and maximum 63 characters.

The minimum term for registering a domain in the HU area is 1 year, the maximum is 1 year.

You can renew a domain name in the .HU extension at any time, until the end of the domain’s validity period. You can also use the auto-renewal feature for HU domain.

Domain registration in this area is not instant, takes up to 1 week.

Regery does not support DNSSEC for HU domains name. It is not possible to sign domain name zone on registry

Registry requirements: nameservers must be configured and return an authoritative answer before domain update is requested. You can use .HU DNS checker tool for nameservers validation.
Registry uses NS records of master nameserver to discover all NS set.

Name servers should be correct and configured to return domain information.
If you use external non-Regery NS, please check your settings before you register domain.

1. Open info.domain.hu/webregcheck
2. Specify your domain name and nameserver
3. Click 'Start the checks
4. If no errors, continue registration

In case the request gets deleted (e.g. order gets sent back as incomplete and does not get rectified), the registration fee will be charged.
If a new request is created for the same domain, the registration fee will be charged again.
